Atmospheric Disturbances

In the top right hand corner of the first page she scans her handwritten note: "your associative powers undo censorship". As she reads the note, her lips move and a few sounds escape her mouth, but not loud enough to penetrate the background noise. She feels the desire to make sound, with more volume and suddenly a bright vowel escapes her lips and she hears it as if it didn’t come from her; a disjointed and alien utterance.
